Acts 3: 1 – 10   In today’s text, we witness disciples doing exactly what Jesus has said they will do. They are healing by the power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus’ name.    It’s important for us to note here that in the interest of saving the story of Pentecost for a big celebration in May, we’ve skipped the arrival of the Holy Spirit in the arc of the storyline. So in the chapter prior to this healing story, Peter and John were part of the crowd in Jerusalem that was visited and empowered by the winds of the Holy Spirit. They were present for the revelatory moment when people from many places and with many languages were unified in understanding.
